Ever since I was a little fella I've always loved to draw. Secretly I wanted to be a cartoonist and I remember amusing my classmates in primary school with my doodles of Bob Hawke, Paul Keating and 'little Johnny' Howard (I still can't believe that he ended up as the Prime Minister). Ah well, I suppose that he's got the sort of physical features that political cartoonists drool over...

All of the illustrations in this gallery were done with either pencil, pixels or pen and ink. My tools include paper, Corel Painter IX, Macromedia Flash and Photoshop. Most of the stylised work is done straight in Flash, which I prefer over Adobe Illustrator for this type of work - it looks a little more organic and less sterile.

The subjects covered are quite diverse and have been chosen to illustrate my range of subject and competency with materials. Some of the illustrations are nothing more than rough sketches, but should give you a good idea of my skill level.
